First steps

I’ve been looking to start a blog for a long time now, but couldn’t just push myself to do it ; mostly by fear that that my content isn’t relevant enough. I’ve been studying software engineering for two years now - including a 6-month internship in a leading tech startup -, after a few prep years studying maths and physics. I quickly leaned toward web technologies: NodeJS, Django, Symfony, AngularJS…

As I began to master languages, processes and technologies, I realized how cool it would be to share info on a blog - but I didn’t feel I was relevant yet. So I’m starting this blog not in the objective of wanting to school anyone, but in the objective of sharing my discoveries in the fantastic world of software. I’ll be sharing what I think is relevant in this domain - feel free to hit me up on Twitter at @grlneric to point out anything interesting.

Right now, I’m working on a small webapp project involving graphs, I have no doubt you’ll find it pretty cool. I’m using this as an opportunity to learn Node, since this is my first real project that I’m building with Node. I’m also learning some sigma.js and OAuth in the process. I’ll keep you informed when it’s ready to be shown.
